Description

Zwlaszcza produkty te posiadaja wlasnosc tworzenia stalej emul¬ sji z plynami w wodzie nierozpuszczalne- mi, jak np., oleje, benzol, nafta, oliwy, oleje smolowe, metylonaftalina, chloroform, siar¬ czek wegla i t. d. Przyklad 1.Otrzymywany z 384 czesci naftaliny sla¬ bo alkaliczny roztwór wodny soli sodowej izopropylowanego kwasu p-naftalino-sul- fonowego, zageszcza sie do 3250 czesci, dodaje sie 9000 czesci wylugowanego ole-ju ze smoly wegla brunatnego (ciez. wl. 0,91) i tak dlugo sie miesza w przyrzadzie do mieszania, o mieszadle poziomym, az masa stanie sie podobna do masla. PLIt has been found that sulfonic acids or their salts, propylated in the core of aromatic compounds, especially those derived from naphthalene and other multi-core carbon compounds and which can be easily obtained, have an outstanding soap properties and can serve as a substitute for soap and similar bodies, such as red turkish oil. They can be used as washing and cleaning agents because of their grease and oil dissolving properties, further for the peeling of raw silk, fighting wool, as a foaming agent for dyeing foam, for wetting galls, and so on Especially products these have the property of forming a solid emulsion with water-insoluble liquids, such as, for example, oils, benzol, kerosene, olive oil, tar oils, methyl naphthaline, chloroform, carbon sulfide, etc. Especially sulfonic acid emulsions and their salts of the multi-propylated compounds, the diluted water forms a fine, milky, non-sedimenting slurry which is ideal as drilling oils in the metalworking industry. Also insoluble or sparingly water-soluble solids, which melt when heated under water, can be sprayed into fine particles with the aid of these condensation products, which is of great importance for their application. 384 parts of naphthalene a weakly alkaline aqueous solution of the sodium salt of isopropylated p-naphthaline-sulfonic acid, thickened to 3250 parts, 9000 parts of leached oil from brown coal tar are added (TUE 0.91) and so on mix for a long time in a mixer, with a horizontal agitator, until the mass becomes similar to butter. By adding 10 times the amount of water, a milky emulsion is obtained which, with the addition of some sodium hydroxide, is perfectly suited as a drilling oil. The same is done with other sulfonated acids or their salts, of propylated aromatics, as well as with other water-insoluble fluids instead of tar oil. PL
