An example of the invention is shown in the attached drawing showing the steam engine in a horizontal section. Number 1 denotes the crankshaft on which the two gear wheels 2 are attached. The shaft 1 rests directly or indirectly in the bearings 10 and is provided at its ends with cranks 4, which transfer forces to the shaft 5 by means of a connecting rod 8 and cranks 7.Os with wheels the drive is seated in U-bearings which are fixed to the frame.
