Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest szczep Lactiplantibacillus plantarum oznaczony symbolem PL6 zdeponowany, zgodnie z traktatem budapeszteńskim o międzynarodowym uznawaniu depozytu drobnoustrojów dla celów postępowania patentowego, w Polskiej Kolekcji Mikroorganizmów (PCM) w Instytucie Immunologii i Terapii Doświadczalnej Polskiej Akademii Nauk we Wrocławiu w dniu 13 sierpnia 2018 roku pod numerem B/00162 posiadający sekwencję genomową przedstawioną w załączniku nr 1. Szczep oprócz właściwości probiotycznych posiada zdolność do przetrwania w warunkach ograniczonego dostępu do źródeł energii, czyli głodzenia. Zgłoszenie obejmuje też zastosowanie szczepu Lactiplantibacillus plantarum PL6, które obejmuje wytwarzanie produktów żywnościowych, suplementów diety, a także wód mineralnych, soków i innych napojów w formie probiotyku lub postbiotyku. Szczep przeznaczony jest też do stosowania w stanach zaburzenia mikrobioty jelitowej po leczeniu antybiotykami, w rekonwalescencji po chorobach przewodu pokarmowego, w zaparciach, a także zapobiegawczo w celu ochrony przed biegunkami i regulowania funkcji przewodu pokarmowego u ludzi zdrowych, oraz do stosowania w jamie ustnej i drogach rodnych w celu przywrócenia prawidłowej flory po zakażeniach bakteryjnych, grzybiczych oraz po leczeniu antybiotykowym w celu odbudowy prawidłowej mikrobioty.
