Schody strychowe zbudowane ze skrzynki (1), drabiny (2), klapy zamykającej (4) skrzynkę, tak, że drabina (2) zawieszona jest w skrzynce (1) schodów strychowych za pomocą zawiasów (3), a klapa zamykająca (4) zawieszona jest na drabinie (2) oraz posiada budowę warstwową, składającą się z warstwy wewnętrznej (41) znajdującej się między dwiema sztywnymi warstwami zewnętrznymi (42), przy czym warstwa wewnętrzna (41) jest wypełniona w całości materiałem ognioodpornym.
