Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest przyrząd do pokazów lewitacji diamagnetyków w polu magnetycznym, mający zastosowanie podczas wykonywania doświadczeń. Przyrząd do pokazów lewitacji diamagnetyków w polu magnetycznym zawiera toroidalne naczynie, składające się z płaskiego dna (1) w kształcie poziomo usytuowanego pierścienia, łączącego się ze ścianką zewnętrzną (2) i ścianką wewnętrzną (3), które mają kształt współosiowych, pionowych cylindrów. Górny koniec ścianki zewnętrznej (2) jest zaopatrzony w gwint zewnętrzny i toroidalne naczynie jest zamknięte od góry pokrywą (4) w kształcie koła, mającą cylindryczne obrzeże 5, zaopatrzone w gwint wewnętrzny, umożliwiający wkręcenie pokrywy (4) na gwint zewnętrzny ścianki zewnętrznej (2). Toroidalne naczynie jest wykonane z materiału przezroczystego i nieferromagnetycznego, korzystnie z polimetakrylanu metylu. Wewnątrz toroidalnego naczynia, między jego ścianką zewnętrzną (2) i ścianką wewnętrzną (3) są umieszczone współosiowo dwa cylindryczne magnesy trwałe, to jest magnes zewnętrzny (6) i magnes wewnętrzny (7), namagnesowane w kierunku podłużnym i zwrócone biegunami jednoimiennymi w tę samą stronę. Między magnesami (6, 7) jest cylindryczna przestrzeń i dolną część tej przestrzeni wypełnia pierścieniowy magnes trwały (8), namagnesowany w kierunku radialnym i ze ściankami cylindrycznych magnesów (6, 7) łączą się przeciwne bieguny pierścieniowego magnesu (8). Górną część przestrzeni między cylindrycznymi magnesami (6, 7) wypełnia pierścień (9). W wolnej przestrzeni między pokrywą (4) i górnymi końcami cylindrycznych magnesów (6, 7) oraz górną powierzchnią pierścienia (9) znajduje się lewitująca próbka (10).The subject of the application is a device for demonstrating levitation of diamagnets in a magnetic field, applicable during the performance of experiments. The device for demonstrating levitation of diamagnets in a magnetic field comprises a toroidal vessel consisting of a flat bottom (1) in the form of a horizontally arranged ring, connected to an external wall (2) and an internal wall (3), which have the shape of coaxial, vertical cylinders. The upper end of the external wall (2) is provided with an external thread and the toroidal vessel is closed at the top with a cover (4) in the form of a circle, having a cylindrical rim 5, provided with an internal thread, enabling the cover (4) to be screwed onto the external thread of the external wall (2). The toroidal vessel is made of a transparent and non-ferromagnetic material, preferably of polymethyl methacrylate. Inside the toroidal vessel, between its outer wall (2) and inner wall (3) there are placed coaxially two cylindrical permanent magnets, i.e. an outer magnet (6) and an inner magnet (7), magnetized in the longitudinal direction and facing the same poles in the same direction. Between the magnets (6, 7) there is a cylindrical space and the lower part of this space is filled by an annular permanent magnet (8), magnetized in the radial direction and the opposite poles of the annular magnet (8) are connected to the walls of the cylindrical magnets (6, 7). The upper part of the space between the cylindrical magnets (6, 7) is filled by a ring (9). In the free space between the cover (4) and the upper ends of the cylindrical magnets (6, 7) and the upper surface of the ring (9) there is a levitating sample (10).
