Abstract

A hybrid engine created by combining an internal combustion engine and a heat engine is characterized by the fact that the warm cylinder of the heat engine (5) is powered by heated gases from the combustion of hydrocarbon or hydrogen fuels (1, 4) and sets in motion the piston of the hot cylinder (2), which, by connecting the crankshaft to the cold cylinder (3) located outside and the regenerator (8) connecting both cylinders of the heat engine, generates mechanical energy and transmits it through the crank system (6) to the crank system of the combustion engine (7).
