Sposób działania quasi skrubera Venturie'go charakteryzuje się tym, że zanieczyszczone gazowe medium procesowe (16) dopływa do komory poprzedzającej konfuzor (9) quasi skrubera Venturie'go (2), a przepływ medium (16) jest indukowany pędnikiem - cieczą przetłaczaną rurociągiem (8), ze zbiornika (11) do dyszy (7) w komorze (9) poprzedzającej konfuzor quasi skrubera (2), w której przetłaczana ciecz rozpręża się do ciśnienia gazowego medium procesowego (16) wytwarzając parę mokrą, mieszającą się w konfuzorze i mieszalniku (5) quasi skrubera (2) z zanieczyszczonym gazowym medium procesowym (16) i sorpcji ulegają fizycznie pyły i chemicznie reszty kwasowe (np. SO<sub>2</sub>), a strumień medium gazowego (16) z pędnikiem odpływa dyfuzorem (6) quasi skrubera (2) do zbiornika odcieku (10), gdzie pochłonięte pyły i sole (np. siarczyny i siarczany) są wytrącane z gazowego medium procesowego (16) i odprowadzane w strumieniu nadmiarowego odcieku pompą (15), a oczyszczone medium odpływa do emitora (17).
