Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of monitoring the vital functions of an infant during sleep, consisting in continuous recording of respiratory movements, temperature, pulse and pressure and converting them into an electrical signal, and when the infant's respiratory movements disappear, an alarm signal is triggered. The subject of the application is also a system for monitoring the vital signs of an infant during sleep, including a band with sensors (1), at least one pressure sensor (2), at least one transmitter (3), at least one receiver (4), a thermometer (5), a sensor heart rate (6), blood pressure sensor (7), microphone (8), minicomputer, loudspeaker. The measurement is carried out using a pressure mat and a special band adapted to the size of the child's hand (1). Measurement information is sent to the receiver (4), where a microcomputer using a neural network analyzes the results. In case of disturbing readings, a loudspeaker in the parents' room is activated, which alerts about the child's disturbing behavior. In addition, parents receive, via a phone application, information about optimal behavior in the situation and about the nearest active medical facilities.
