Abstract

The method of seasonal heating of residential spaces, especially in single-family houses, is characterized by the fact that the air-to-air heat pump is associated with a hearth for smokeless combustion of wood chips (18), thanks to which, during severe frosts, the required parameters are achieved in the heated rooms and at the same time relatively low demand for electricity, because the heat source of the used ventilation air (13) and the heat of exhaust gases from the combustion of wood chips (15) are used as the lower heat source in the heat pump evaporator (1), which is used to heat fresh air in the heat exchanger (8) ventilation air (11) and this heat, if necessary, is supplemented with the heat of the external air (11), except that during periods of ambient temperatures higher than -20°C, the external air (11) is replaced with cold air leaving the evaporator (12), so that at the air inlet to the pump evaporator (1), the temperature is kept below 0°C and freezes excess water from this medium, thanks to which the intensity of ice settling on the heat exchange surface of the evaporator (1) is reduced, and it is also possible to use the fluidization of fine-grained material to continuous removal of the layer of ice that may be deposited in the evaporator of the heat pump (1), with the flue gases constituting an additional source of heat obtained by smokeless combustion of wood chips (18), which are introduced into the furnace (6) continuously from below, below layer of embers, and the air is dosed with an air pump (7) in an amount slightly exceeding the theoretical demand below the ember layer, while the remaining part of it, which is excess to about λ = 1.6, is introduced above the ember layer, after having been heated to a temperature of about 400°C , and the flue gases generated in the furnace are dedusted with the possible use of water (17), used to heat fresh ventilation air (11) in the heater (8) and then directed to the heat pump evaporator (1).
