Filtr gazu (1) jest przystosowany do umieszczenia wewnątrz obudowy gazomierza i zawiera korpus (2) z otworem wlotowym (3) gazu. Filtr gazu (1) posiada co najmniej jeden wkład filtracyjny (6) z materiałem filtracyjnym (11). Ponadto filtr gazu (1) zaopatrzony jest w co najmniej jeden zespół obejściowy (7).
