Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of obtaining a bioactive hemostatic agent, which consists in subjecting chitosan to a physical cross-linking reaction using poly (aspartic acid), and then incorporating lysozyme into the structure of cross-linked chitosan, the cross-linking reaction being carried out at room temperature under normal pressure. The mass ratio of chitosan: cross-linker is from 1: 0.1 to 1: 6, and the amount of lysozyme is 12.5-25 mg per 1 g of chitosan. The invention also relates to a chitosan-based bioactive hemostatic agent obtained by this method.
