Abstract
Odpady tworzyw sztucznych poliolefinowych (polietylenu, polipropylenu i polistyrenu), rozdrabnia się i suszy, a następnie, po zmieszaniu z katalizatorem w postaci naturalnego zeolitu z dużą zawartością klinoptylolitu, wprowadza się do urządzenia. Odpady w pierwszym etapie ulegają upłynnieniu w ogrzewanym przenośniku ślimakowym, następnie kierowane są do komory reaktora (1), którą stanowi ułożony poziomo walec, ogrzewany od spodu grzałkami elektrycznymi (24), w której, bez dostępu powietrza, w ciśnieniu zbliżonym do atmosferycznego, zachodzi proces pękania długich łańcuchów polimerowych i powstaje mieszanina węglowodorów o krótszych łańcuchach węglowych. Reagująca masa jest mieszana i przesuwana w komorze przy pomocy mieszadła-zgarniacza. Produkt procesu, w formie gazowej, opuszcza komorę reaktora i podlega kondensacji w skraplaczu. Nie reagujące węglowodory wraz z zużytym katalizatorem są w sposób ciągły i szczelny odprowadzane z komory reaktora. W procesie powstaje również mieszanina nie kondensujących gazów palnych.Waste polyolefin plastics (polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene) are shredded and dried, and then mixed with a catalyst in the form of natural zeolite with a high content of clinoptilolite, is introduced into the device. The reacting mass is mixed and moved in the chamber by means of the agitator-scraper. The product of the process, in gaseous form, leaves the reactor chamber and is subject to condensation in the condenser. The non-reacting hydrocarbons along with the spent catalyst are continuously and tightly removed from the reactor chamber. The process also produces a mixture of non-condensing combustible gases.
