Te ostatnie nie zawsze sa skuteczne, poniewaz wytworzyly sie gatunki wszy odporne na dzialanie DDT.Stwierdzono, ze nalewka alkoholowo-wodna ziela piolunu (Arthemisia absintium) wykazuje silne dzialanie wszobójcze. Opierajac sie na tym stwierdzeniu sporzadzono srodek wedlug wynalazku. Srodek ten przygotowuje sie na¬ stepujaco: suche ziele piolunu rozdrabnia sie, przesiewa przez sito, umieszcza w perkolato- rze, zalewa 70°/o-owym roztworem alkoholu etylowego i perkoluje. Na 1 czesc wagowa Herba Arthemisia absintium stosuje sie 5 cze¬ sci wagowych alkoholu etylowego 70°/o-owego.Po 24 godzinach do otrzymanej nalewki doda¬ je sie 0,4 czesci wagowych lodowatego kwasu octowego.Srodek wedlug wynalazku oprócz skuteczne¬ go dzialania na wszy posiada jeszcze te zale¬ ty, ze jest tani i latwy w uzyciu. Surowce po¬ trzebne do sporzadzenia tego srodka sa rów¬ niez latwo dostepne. PL
