Ujawniona jest łopatka turbiny zawierająca powierzchnię dolną (2) i powierzchnię górną (1) oraz krawędź natarcia (3) i krawędź spływu (4), wzdłuż których połączone są powierzchnia nadciśnienia (5) i powierzchnia podciśnienia (6). Powierzchnia nadciśnienia (5) i powierzchnia podciśnienia (6) rozciągnięte są na profilach zbudowanych z krzywych. Profil tworzący powierzchnię podciśnienia (6) obejmuje co najmniej jeden segment, w którym występuje punkt przegięcia krzywej.
