Abstract
Ujawniono nowy szczep Lactobacillus plantarum PM1, który został zdeponowany w Polskiej Kolekcji Mikroorganizmów (PCM) w Instytucie Immunologii i Terapii Doświadczalnej Polskiej Akademii Nauk we Wrocławiu pod numerem depozytowym B/00055. Przedmiotem wynalazku jest także metabolit otrzymany z hodowli, szczepu Lactobacillus plantarum PM1, który wykazuje właściwości przeciwgrzybicze i przeciwbakteryjne. Metabolit zawiera kwasy, w tym szczególnie 3-fenylomlekowy, 3-(4-hydroksyfenylo)mlekowy, mlekowy oraz piroglutaminowy. Wynalazek obejmuje również zastosowanie szczepu Lactobacillus plantarum PM1 i/lub metabolitu wytworzonego przez szczep Lactobacillus plantarum PM1 jako środka hamującego rozwój i/lub ograniczającego wzrost populacji grzybów patogennych dla człowieka.A new strain of Lactobacillus plantarum PM1 has been disclosed, which was deposited in the Polish Microorganism Collection (PCM) at the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław under deposit number B / 00055. The subject of the invention is also a metabolite obtained from the culture, strain Lactobacillus plantarum PM1, which has antifungal and antibacterial properties. The metabolite contains acids, in particular 3-phenyl lactic, 3- (4-hydroxyphenyl) lactic, lactic and pyroglutamic acids. The invention also includes the use of the Lactobacillus plantarum PM1 strain and / or the metabolite produced by the Lactobacillus plantarum PM1 strain as a means of inhibiting the growth and / or limiting the growth of the population of pathogenic fungi.
