Abstract

Kaskadowy konwerter promieniowania jonizującego zawierający pierwszy stopień konwersji (1) przekształcający promieniowanie jonizujące na promieniowanie elektromagnetyczne niejonizujące, drugi stopień konwersji (2) przekształcający promieniowanie elektromagnetyczne niejonizujące na ładunek elektryczny oraz trzeci stopień konwersji (3) przekształcający wygenerowany ładunek elektryczny na zmianę potencjału sterującego komórką ciekłokrystaliczną, charakteryzuje się tym, że pierwszy stopień konwersji (1) stanowi warstwa radioluminescencyjna, korzystnie warstwa Lu2O3:Eu, drugi stopień konwersji (2) stanowi warstwa materiału fotoprzewodzącego, korzystnie warstwa amorficznego selenu lub poli(3-heksylotiofenu), przy czym spektrum emisji promieniowania elektromagnetycznego niejonizującego pierwszego stopnia konwersji (1) pokrywa się ze spektrum absorpcji promieniowania elektromagnetycznego niejonizującego drugiego stopnia konwersji (2).
