Sposób otrzymywania sorbenta do sorpcji gazowego CO2, polegający na modyfikacji ditlenku tytanu, charakteryzuje się tym, że wysuszony ditlenek tytanu o strukturze anatazu przemywa się wodą amoniakalną i wodą destylowaną do uzyskania wartości pH w granicach 6 - 8, a następnie suszy przez co najmniej 24 godziny w temperaturze 105 - 120°C. Korzystnie po suszeniu otrzymany materiał gotuje się w roztworze wodorotlenku potasu, przemywa wodą destylowaną do uzyskania pH mocno alkaicznego, a następnie suszy oraz co najmniej 24 godziny w temperaturze od 100 do 120°C.
