Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób hamowania pojazdu, zwłaszcza szynowego prędkości, gdzie wykorzystuje się opór aerodynamiczny oraz odzyskuje się energię kinetyczną strumienia powietrza, opływającego pojazd (1) w czasie hamowania. Do odzysku energii wykorzystuje się otunelowaną turbinę wiatrową (2), korzystnie współpracującą z hamulcem aerodynamicznym (3), przy czym turbinę wiatrową (2) napędza się co najmniej częścią strumienia powietrza, którą kieruje się do tunelu przepływowego (4) z umieszczoną w nim turbiną wiatrową (2) i korzystnie zakończonego hamulcem aerodynamicznym (3). Układ hamowania z wykorzystaniem oporu aerodynamicznego posiada co najmniej jedną turbinę wiatrową (2), osadzoną w tunelu przepływowym (4), za którą na drodze przepływu strumienia powietrza jest położony korzystnie hamulec aerodynamiczny (3), wytwarzający podciśnienie w tym tunelu przepływowym (4), w obszarze turbiny wiatrowej (2). The braking system with the use of aerodynamic drag has at least one wind turbine (2) mounted in the flow tunnel (4), behind which, on the path of the air stream, there is preferably an aerodynamic brake (3), which creates negative pressure in this flow tunnel (4), in the wind turbine area (2). The invention finds application, especially in the heads of end cars of electric multiple units and locomotives of high-speed trains.
