W porównaniu do obecnego stanu techniki wynalazek wykazuje zalete polegajaca na tym, ze umozliwia przeprowadzenie wygodnej i wiarygodnej próby oraz oceny podatnosci róznych rodzajów stali na pekniecia na zimno. Dzieki temu sposobowi testowania mozliwe jest zapewnienie wiarygodnej podstawy wyboru optymalnej temperatury podgrzania wstepnego oraz materialu do spawania ze soba róznych rodzajów stali.
