Abstract
Rozwiązanie przedstawia ekologicznie czysty, dwusuwowy, czterocylindrowy, zbudowany na planie krzyża, silnik spalinowy, w którym elementami wykonującymi ruchy posuwisto-zwrotne są pary zwróconych do siebie przeciwsobnie tłoków (5, 7) połączonych sztywno ze sobą za pomocą suwaka (9), oraz drugiej pary tłoków (6, 8) połączonych sztywno ze sobą za pomocą suwaka (10), których osie krzyżują się pod kątem prostym, wykonują ruchy posuwisto-zwrotne naciskając na dwa, zewnętrzne czopy wału korbowego (14), umieszczonego w ułożyskowanym w obudowie walcu balansowym (13), przekazują moment obrotowy na wał i wprawiają walec balansowy w ruch obrotowy. Silnik, nie posiada korbowodów, a każdy z tłoków wyposażony jest w zawór dolotowy (20). Dzięki zupełnie nowemu rozwiązaniu układu korbowo-tłokowego silnik może równo i bez szarpnięć pracować już przy 200-300 obr/ min. Silnik charakteryzuje się wysoką sprawnością dochodzącą do 50%, dużym momentem obrotowym nawet przy najniższych obrotach, oraz porównywalną do silników czterosuwowych mocą, osiąganą już przy połowie ich obrotów. Brak dostępu produktów spalania do oleju komory korbowej powoduje zachowanie dobrych właściwości smarnych przez długie lata, bez konieczności jego wymiany. Dzięki swoim cechom, oraz kształtowi doskonale nadaje się do napędu samochodów osobowych.
