Abstract

The method of producing a composite with a matrix of magnesium alloys and dispersed carbon components consists in the fact that a liquid magnesium alloy with a temperature not higher than 200°C from the liquidus temperature, mixed at a speed of not less than 300 rpm, preferably with a two-segment mixer, in where each segment consists of at least two blades inclined at an angle of 20-90°, carbon materials are introduced immediately after they have been heated, preferably at a temperature of 300°C, for not less than 3 hours. It is then mixed until a homogeneous suspension is obtained and immediately poured off.
