Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób otrzymywania koniugatów białko-klaster boru, który charakteryzuje się tym, że addukt klasteru boru z cyklicznym eterem poddaje się reakcji z białkiem lub peptydem, przy czym reakcję prowadzi się w roztworze wodnym lub wodno-organicznym, korzystnie w temperaturze pokojowej.
