Sposób wytwarzania trójpolifosforanu sodu metodą jednostopniową polega na tym, że do stężonego kwasu fosforowego dodaje się stopniowo, przy ciągłym mieszaniu i rozcieraniu, sodę amoniakalną w takiej ilości by zachować stosunek stechiometryczny Na/P = 1,67, a następnie otrzymany produkt kalcynuje się, w temperaturze nie wyższej niż 550°C w czasie nie krótszym niż 30 minut.The one-step method for producing sodium tripolyphosphate consists in gradually adding soda ash to concentrated phosphoric acid, with constant mixing and grinding, in such an amount as to maintain the stoichiometric ratio Na/P = 1.67, and then the obtained product is calcined in temperature not higher than 550°C for not less than 30 minutes.
