Abstract

Wynalazek dotyczy sposobu wytwarzania estrów alkilowych wyższych kwasów tłuszczowych, polegającego na reakcji transestryfikacji triglicerydów alkoholem, w obecności katalizatora i przy nadmiarze alkoholu do triglicerydów, a następnie rozdzieleniu mieszaniny poreakcyjnej i oddestylowaniu nadmiaru alkoholu. Istotą wynalazku jest to, że reakcję transestryfikacji prowadzi się w temperaturze od 288K do 353K, pod ciśnieniem atmosferycznym, w czasie od 0,3 godziny do 5 godzin, przy stosunku molowym triglicerydów do alkoholu co najmniej 1:14, korzystnie 1:18, w atmosferze gazu obojętnego, przy czym rozdzielanie mieszaniny poreakcyjnej prowadzi się wielokrotnie, a w trakcie destylacji oddziela się frakcje azeotropowe. Wynalazek znajduje zastosowanie zwłaszcza w produkcji komponentów paliw silnikowych i surowców bioodnawialnych dla przemysłu chemicznego, na przykład detergentów.The invention relates to a method of producing alkyl esters of higher fatty acids, consisting in the reaction of transesterification of triglycerides with alcohol, in the presence of a catalyst and with an excess of alcohol to triglycerides, and then separation of the post-reaction mixture and distillation of excess alcohol. The essence of the invention is that the transesterification reaction is carried out at a temperature of 288K to 353K, under atmospheric pressure, for 0.3 to 5 hours, with a molar ratio of triglycerides to alcohol of at least 1:14, preferably 1:18, in atmosphere of inert gas, with the post-reaction mixture being separated several times, and azeotropic fractions being separated during distillation. The invention finds application especially in the production of motor fuel components and bio-renewable raw materials for the chemical industry, for example detergents.
