Abstract

The procedure consists of implanting a base layer (14) with multiple threads (12) to create a tufted surface (16) with at least one decorative motif, guide lines (18) parallel to the direction of the tufted surface's manufacture, and cutting marks (20) in predetermined positions relative to the motifs. The guide lines are implanted along the edges of the material, and the cutting marks are made adjacent to them, using tufts of contrasting colors.
