Abstract

The plastics double windowpane (20) fits between two extruded aluminum profiles (4,21) and the edge rests on a further profile (2). Two of the profiles are filled with plastics foam (5,6) and all the profiles are held together by interlocking catch members. The assembly includes plastics assembly rails (7,8) which accommodate fastening members (17,19).
