Abstract

The grip has a plastic molded housing (3) inside which is fitted a tilt action lever (6) joined to a catch (4) which clips onto a fixed catch on the window frame. The catch is held in the closed position by a spring (7) inside the housing. A sliding mounted locking catch (8) on the other side of the housing locks the window from the inside. The housing is secured to the window pane by a threaded fastener, through a hole in the glass, and into an outside housing (20).
