Abstract

The arrangement is in the form of a continuous strip (1) which has two groups of reinforcing threads (3,4). One group (4) runs counter to the first group (3), the threads of both groups diverging and converging in the strip longitudinal direction. The two groups are arranged at a distance (6) from one another and each group's outer thread (5) runs approximately parallel to the strip edge. Alternatively the arrangement may also be provided with an additional central group of reinforcement threads, which run from the central axis of the strip to both sides, diverging and converging in the strip longitudinal direction.
