Description

Stosunek wydajnosci pracy do zawar¬ tosci dodatków stopowych przedstawia sie najkorzystniej w stali wedlug wynalazku, zawierajacej poza zelazem i zwyklymi za¬ nieczyszczeniami 1,2% — 1,5% wegla,3 — 5% chromu, 3 do mniej niz 5% mo libdenu i 4 — 6% wanadu. Stal szybkotnaca wedlug wynalazku moze zawierac obok skladników juz wy¬ mienionych takze do 5% kobaltu. PLThe present invention relates to a high speed steel containing 1.0-1.6% carbon, 1-6% chromium, 1 to a maximum of 5% molarbdenum, 2-6% vanadium, the remainder of the alloy being iron with common contaminants. Experience has shown that such a steel, although containing relatively small amounts of table constituents, is on par with known high-quality alloy steels and, in some sense, even surpassing them. As shown in the figure, for example, a steel according to the invention has 1.35% carbon, 4.27% chromium, 3.25% molybdenum and 4.69% vanadium, the same service time at high speed Cutting bones, such as high-grade steel, containing 0.80% carbon, 4.5% chromium, 2.40% vanadium and 14.8% tungsten. At a lower cutting speed, the steel according to the invention exceeds the above-mentioned steel. With high-speed steels containing large amounts of molybdenum, the steel according to the invention has the advantage that it is cheaper and that its processing with a low molybdenum content is easier, because there is no fear of molybdenum evaporation or decarburization of the alloy, which occurs during the forging and heat treatment of high-speed steels with a high content of molybdenum. The ratio of work efficiency to the content of alloying additives is most advantageously presented in the steel according to the invention, containing 1.2% of - 1.5% carbon, 3 - 5% chromium, 3 to less than 5% m with libdenum and 4 - 6% vanadium. Moreover, it turned out that the cutting speed of the previously mentioned steels can be increased by adding tungsten to them in an amount equal to 50% molybdenum content, and in the range 1 to 4% c. As shown for the example in the figure, a high speed steel containing 1.35% carbon, 4.27% chromium, 3.25% molybdenum and 4.69% vanadium, is used for turning a 100% carbon steel. kg / mm 2 with a permissible travel of 1.4 mm and a chip depth of 5.0 meters, a service time of approximately 32 minutes at a cutting speed of 13 meters per minute and a service time of 24 minutes with a cutting bones 14 m per minute, while high-speed steel, containing 1.35% carbon, 4.3% chromium, 3.18% molybdenum, 4.83% vanadium and 3.06% tungsten, (at a cutting speed of 13 m per minute pa has a service time of about 59 minutes, and at a cutting speed of 14 m per minute, it has a service time of 48 minutes. According to the invention, high-speed steel can contain, in addition to components already exchanged, up to 5% cobalt. EN
