Description

Description of the invention

The subject of the invention is a support for a semi-trailer pillar, which provides additional support for a movable central pillar of a semi-trailer, it being possible to use several of the supports described in one semi-trailer.

There are many solutions for the construction of supports for the middle posts of semi-trailers.

And so, from the Polish description of the invention No. PL-207293 (PCT / DE2003 / 002054) (Publ. VLO of 2010-11-30, 11/2010) - we know the "Side support and the side support assembly of the truck tarpaulin", in which side support of the truck tarpaulin locked in the socket. The lateral support is effectively locked and has a long service life due to the fact that it is provided with a stop element and a support element placed between the seat and the stop element.

From another Polish description of the invention no. PL-192452, the "Side support of the vehicle" is known (VLO publ. From 2006-10-31, 10/2006). In this solution, the support cylinder is pivotally connected with a support bracket that is slidably mounted in the sheath in the vehicle frame. Connected to the support bracket is a bracket to which the actuator is articulated. The other side of the cylinder is articulated with the support cylinder. A mechanical-hydraulic clamping device is connected to the body of the support cylinder, which is a blockade of the support cylinder.

The object of the invention is to develop a structure that will additionally secure the movable central pillar of the semi-trailer when it is unfastened and will prevent uncontrolled movement of this post.

The essence of the developed structure of the semi-trailer pillar support is that it is a longitudinal element, one of its ends rotatably fastened in the fixing element. The entire pivoting support in the folded and neutral position is attached parallel to the edge of the bottom of the trailer, while in the working position it is detached and turned around the axis which is the fixing element, and at its end - opposite to the position of the fixing element - the post rests.

The fastening element may be positioned between horizontal elements mounted horizontally - preferably bolts - to the periphery of the trailer, i.e. to the longitudinal edge of the trailer.

At the end of the rotatable support - opposite to the location of the fastening element - there is usually a locking element, which provides additional security for the rotatable support after it has been folded in its initial position.

At the end of the pivotable support - opposite to the location of the fastening element - there may be a socket, usually fork-shaped, into which the post is inserted in a supported position.

At the end of the rotatable support - opposite to the location of the fastening element - there is preferably a locking element which additionally secures the rotatable support in its initial position after it has been folded.

The movable post, in its folded position, is stable on the fixing element.

There may be a lock above the fastener that locks the post in its stowed and neutral position and secures it.

An oblong element constituting a rotating support - it can be bent.

A spring mechanism is preferably incorporated in the center of the rotary mechanism.

The spring mechanism enables the rotation of the pivoting support by 90 ° and locks it at the extreme points, i.e. the starting position and the unfolded position.

The solution according to the invention provides a semi-trailer post support which allows the detached, movable post to be supported, facilitating the loading and unloading of the semi-trailer. Thanks to the support used, when the post is unfastened, it does not fall inertly, and is conveniently and safely moved away from the edges of the trailer. Positioned in such a way, the post simultaneously bends and pulls the tarpaulin, which enables easy maneuvering of the load, still under the tarpaulin cover. The developed support especially facilitates loading in rainy weather. A latch mounted at the end of the support securely locks and secures the post in its original position.

The subject of the invention is shown in more detail in the embodiment in the drawing, in which fig. 1 - shows the exploded perspective view of a semi-trailer pillar support, while fig. 2 - shows an axonometric view of the folded-in safety support, and fig. 3 - shows a view of the spring mechanism.

As shown in the picture - the pivoting support 1 of the post 2 of the semi-trailer provides an additional support for the post 2. One of the ends of the pivoting support 1 is pivotally fastened to the fixing element 3

On the other hand, the entire pivoting support 1 of the post 2 of the semi-trailer in the folded and neutral position is attached parallel to the edge of the semi-trailer bottom and does not protrude beyond the outline of the vehicle.

The post 2, which is movable and at the right moment requires support - in its folded position it is placed between the horizontal elements 4 and stably on the fastening element 3. And its rotational support 1 is - as already indicated - rotatably mounted in the rotating mechanism 5, embedded in the securing element 3. There is a lock 6 above the securing element 3, which locks the post 2 in its folded-in and neutral position and secures it. The lock 6 is fixed to the side border of the semi-trailer and its locking pocket secures the post 2 when it is not released, i.e. when the semi-trailer is being moved for example.

At the opposite end of the pivotable support 1 - opposite to the position of the fastening element 3 - is a socket 7, preferably fork-shaped, into which the post 2 is inserted when it is locked and supported. The socket 7 allows the post 2 to be securely placed in a supported position.

The developed rotational support 1 enables supporting - at a certain distance from the edge of the semi-trailer - the disengaged post 2 and additional stabilization of the post 2, thus preventing it from inertly moving.

The rotating support 1 is an elongated element, which is bent so that in the neutral position the rotating support 1 is placed as close as possible to the edge of the trailer bottom and that its end can be conveniently placed in the rotating mechanism 5 and the rotating support 1 can be conveniently moved. of the pivot mechanism 5, a spring mechanism 8 is built in, which facilitates the loosening of the pivotable support 1 and setting it to a position perpendicular to the rim. Holes and catches placed in the horizontal elements 4 enable the trailer tarpaulin to be attached to them.

The safe functioning of the described structure is additionally facilitated by the blocking element 9, which is located near the seat 7, and which provides additional protection for the rotating support 1 after its folding, in its initial position, for example when moving the semi-trailer.

Supporting the post 2 requires removing the post 2 from the lock 6, releasing the support 1 and resting the post 2 on it. To achieve this, it is necessary to unlock and release the locking element 9, and then rotate the pivot 1 around the axis constituted by the pivot mechanism 5 and support it. at its end - opposite to the location of the fastening element 3 - of the post 2. The spring mechanism 8 enables the pivotable support 1 to be turned by 90 ° and locked at extreme points, i.e. the starting position and the extended position.
