PL 210 889 B1PL 210 889 B1
Opis wynalazkuDescription of the invention
The subject of the invention is a method of increasing the active surface of metal elements, in particular the heat exchange surface of metal elements or made of metal alloys.
Radiatory i wymienniki ciepła stanowią istotny element pracy wielu urządzeń przemysłowych (np. układy elektroniczne, klimatyzatory, układy chłodzenia reaktorów jądrowych) czy domowego użytku (np. komputery osobiste, odbiorniki RTV). Radiators and heat exchangers are an important element of the operation of many industrial devices (e.g. electronic systems, air conditioners, nuclear reactor cooling systems) or home use (e.g. personal computers, RTV receivers). Properly prepared surfaces of these devices receive heat from the working elements and transfer this heat to the coolant in contact with these surfaces. The coolant can absorb heat without or with a phase change.
Wraz z postępującą miniaturyzacją urządzeń przemysłowych coraz większego znaczenia nabiera problem odprowadzania dużych strumieni ciepła przez powierzchnię.With the progressive miniaturization of industrial devices, the problem of removing large heat fluxes through the surface becomes more and more important.
The Polish patent description PL 201 106 describes a method of increasing the heat transfer surface of metal elements or elements made of metal alloys, characterized by the fact that the surface is remelted in the presence of a steam channel formed as a result of the action of a concentrated laser beam. Melting is performed with a plasma stream or an electron beam. The remelting process itself can be carried out in a pulsed, pulsed or continuous manner. Remelting is carried out to form the cut face and root, or to create an undercut of the cut face.
Ponadto niestabilność procesów fizykochemicznych zachodzących w kąpieli metalowej i kanaliku parowym może doprowadzić do powstania struktury o mocno zróż nicowanej głębokoś ci przetopienia.Remelting in the presence of a steam channel, due to the specific behavior of the steam channel, always leads to the formation of a metal bath characterized by a much greater depth in relation to its width and length. Moreover, the instability of the physicochemical processes occurring in the metal bath and the steam channel can lead to the formation of a structure with a highly differentiated fusion depth.
In the case of remelting, for example, thin-walled objects with thicknesses often less than 1 mm (eg heat exchange flow plates in heat exchangers), the remelting depth requires strict control, and yet it may lead to the formation of an accidental, undesirable ridge or loss of material continuity.
The aim of the invention is to use the remelting technique, which technique easily enables the production on the surface of structures characterized by simultaneously increased roughness and an active surface, including a heat transfer surface.
The essence of the method of remelting the surface of an element according to the invention consists in the fact that remelting is performed at a temperature lower than the boiling point, and at the same time during remelting, the element is subjected to vibrations.
Preferably, surface remelting is performed with a laser beam or an electron beam.
W ten sposób można np. przetopić jednostronnie cienkościenne materiały bez obawy o możliwość utworzenia przypadkowej, niepożądanej grani przetopu a także utraty ciągłości materiału.The invention allows to obtain in one operation several times increase of the active surface, including the heat exchange surface. According to the invention, this process can be carried out at a temperature lower than the boiling point of the workpiece material, preventing the formation of a steam channel. This process is called conduction remelting, or conduction welding, when materials are metallurgically joined together. Such penetrations are relatively shallow with an evenly distributed depth of penetration. In this way, for example, one-sided thin-walled materials can be remelted without fear of the possibility of creating an accidental, undesirable fusion ridge, as well as the loss of material continuity.
