Description
Opis wynalazkuDescription of the invention
The subject of the invention is a mat, especially for communication routes, intended for laying on pavements, roadways, both for pedestrian and wheeled traffic.
In public utility facilities, especially such as airports or railway stations, some corridors or communication routes are of considerable length, through which a significant number of people still pass. The work done by the flowing stream of people, apart from the work spent moving, is essentially wasted.
Celem wynalazku jest wykorzystanie energii wytworzonej przez przepływający i ukierunkowany strumień ludzi wzdłuż ciągów komunikacyjnych. The aim of the invention is to use the energy generated by the flowing and directed stream of people along communication routes.
The mat, especially for communication routes according to the invention, is made of an insulating and flexible material and is intended to be laid on a paved ground.
The essence of the solution according to the invention consists in the fact that the mat in its structure under the entire surface contains miniature transducers converting the pressure into electric energy, the transducers being connected to the electric energy receiving system.
Throughout the mat structure, there are at least a few transducers beneath its surface about the size of a human foot.
Przetworniki stanowią elementy piezoelektryczne. The transducers are piezoelectric elements.
As an alternative, transducers that are inductive elements can be used.
The electrical energy collector is connected to a converter that converts direct current into alternating current.
The circuit that collects electricity is connected to a converter that converts direct current into direct current of a different voltage.
Wytworzoną energię można wykorzystać na różne sposoby, np. do lokalnego oświetlania awaryjnego, oświetlania tablic informacyjnych, magazynowania w akumulatorach, a w przypadku większej mocy kierowanie jej do systemu energetycznego. An advantage of the solution of the mats according to the invention is that the mats generate free electricity by exerting pressure by walking on them. In communication routes with high and constant pedestrian traffic, electricity of quite significant power can be generated. The generated energy can be used in various ways, e.g. for local emergency lighting, lighting of information boards, storage in batteries, and in the case of higher power, directing it to the energy system.
The subject matter of the invention is illustrated in an embodiment in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a mat sheet that flexes locally when a person passes by, and Fig. 2 shows a circuit of transducers in mats made as sheets.
The mat, especially for traffic routes, according to the invention is made of an insulating and flexible material such as rubber, polyurethane or other plastic. It can be in the form of a carpet web or it can be in the form of sheets joined together. It is intended for laying and fastening on a hardened surface. The mat 1, in its structure under the entire surface, contains miniature transducers 2 or 3 converting the pressure caused by passing persons or wheels of passing vehicles into electric current. In an exemplary embodiment of the mat 1, the transducers 2 are piezoelectric elements, while in another exemplary embodiment, the transducers 3 may be inductive elements. All the converters 2 or 3 are connected to the electric energy receiving circuit 4. As a result of the permanent connection of the transducers 2 or 3 to each other, the voltages of all currently operating transducers 2 or 3 are summed. In the mat structure 1, under the surface of the average size of a human foot, there are at least several transducers 2 or 3, the wires 5 connecting the transducers 2 or 3 with the receiving circuit 4 are embedded in the mat structure 1. The receiving circuit 4 receives electric energy from the converters 2 or 3 and at the same time regulates the output voltage according to the given parameters. Moreover, the electric energy receiving circuit 4 may be connected to a converter 5 or 6 converting direct current into direct current of a different voltage or into alternating current, as required.
The mats according to the invention can be used wherever there is intense pedestrian or vehicle traffic, e.g. airports, railway stations, subway stations, shops, warehouses and production halls on which technological transport trolleys run. It is also possible to lay mats on pavements and roadways.
