Mozna np. sole zmieszac w stanie stalym, w obecnosci takiej ilosci wody, udzielonej jednemu albo obu tym skladnikom, aby mieszanina wy¬ kazywala okolo 4% albo nawet wiecej wil¬ goci. Pomimo wysokiej rozpuszczalnosci soli w wodzie otrzymuje sie przytem bez¬ posrednio, albo po uplywie krótkiego okre¬ su czasu sucha, odporna na dzialanie che¬ miczne mieszanina, t, j. przetwór zasadni¬ czo rózniacy sie od azotanu amonowego samego, albo mieszaniny tegoz z chlorkiem amonowym, które przy takiej ilosci wody sa wilgotne, nie wykazuja nalezytej sypko¬ sci i silnie sie rozplywaja.Dla osiagniecia zamierzonego celu na¬ lezy na 100 czesci azotanu amonowego u- zyc wogóle nie mniej od 75 czesci siarcza¬ nu amonu. Mieszamy np, rozsypywany a- zotan amonowy o zawartosci 4% przyle¬ gajacej wilgoci z równa iloscia siarczanu amonu o 2% zawartosci wody, w jakowym wypadku otrzymuje sie niekiedy bezpo¬ srednio, zazwyczaj jednak po pewnem od¬ lezeniu sie, suchy i trwale sypki produkt. PLIt has been found that ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulphate can be made into a spreadable and permanently flowable mixture very simply and cheaply by mixing the two salts while wet. For example, the salts may be mixed in the solid state, in the presence of such an amount of water, given to one or both of these components, that the mixture exhibits a moisture content of about 4% or even more. Despite the high solubility of the salt in water, a dry, chemically resistant mixture is obtained either directly or after a short time, i.e. a processing substantially different from ammonium nitrate alone or a mixture of the same with ammonium chloride, which with such a quantity of water are moist, do not show proper flowability and spread strongly. To achieve the intended purpose, use not less than 75 parts of ammonium sulphate per 100 parts of ammonium nitrate. We mix, for example, spilled ammonium nitrate with 4% adherent moisture with an equal amount of ammonium sulphate with 2% water content, in which case it is sometimes obtained directly, but usually after some settling, dry and permanently free flowing product.
