Assuming that ecology is economics, and considering the growing public concern about the fate of the natural environment, the designer sought to convey this message through this symbol. The essence of an industrial design is the use of a color and graphic composition, a developed symbol containing and displaying a visual and color composition that, combined with the word and graphic combination, has a suggestive effect on recipients, influencing their perception and turning them into potential customers for research, production, trade, and service activities related to environmental protection in its broadest sense. This also applies to the development of technical projects and research on the social aspects of ecology, waste recycling, and all aspects of increasing social concern for the fate of the human natural environment. The graphic symbol, while fulfilling an informative function thanks to its well-thought-out graphic form and optimally selected colors, ensures high quality and market effectiveness of products introduced to the market, as well as educational and social activities and the commercialization of specialized projects and products, and supports the high quality of services provided. The symbol fully aligns with the principle of sustainable development, which is a constitutional norm in Poland. In this way, it contributes to ensuring the protection of natural potential, its rational management, and the integration of socio-economic development with human aspirations. The graphic symbol represents a protective surface with an arched side edge and a stylized outline of a long, two-part leaf placed in the center, connected at the lower end to an arched stem of variable thickness – from thin at the leaf to thick at the tip. Within the interior space of the arched stem outline is the outline of three letters: "P G K" written in a decorative font. The outer vertical arms of the letters "P and K" protrude down beyond their edges. The "G" placed in the center connects them. A significant portion of the sunflower flower surface is visible from behind the arched side edge, creating an exceptionally suggestive artistic composition with the contrasting dark green background. The visual effect of the graphic symbol is enhanced by the colors of its component elements. The left half of the leaf's outline and the outline of the letters are dark green. The interior of the letters, the right half of the leaf, and, to a small extent, the left side of the leaf are white, while the leaf's stem and the sunflower's background are dark green. The surface beneath the leaf is yellow-orange. The sunflower flower on the right is yellow (with shades), while the petals and center are brown. The part containing the flower appears against an intensely dark green background. All this is visible in the attached illustration.
