Abstract

The blade (10) has a blade section (12) and a base section (14) formed for use in low pressure stage of a steam turbine. The blade section contains a fiber composite material (18) that contains glass fibers, plastic fibers and/or carbon fibers. The region containing the composite material is surrounded by a ductile, humidity impermeable protective layer. The blade section includes a filling body arranged in a blade centre that is completely enclosed by the composite material.
