Abstract
The multi-diffuser (1) has a housing (4) expanding along a longitudinal axis (L) from a diffuser inlet (2) to a diffuser outlet (3), and a diffuser insert (5) arranged within the housing. The diffuser inlet is connected with an output (6) of an exhaust gas turbo-charger (7) and the diffuser outlet is connected with a charge-air cooler (8) of a reciprocating internal combustion engine, such that fresh air (9) is introduced into the cooler from the turbocharger by the diffuser. The diffuser is formed asymmetrical relative to the longitudinal axis.
