The essence of the design is the new and individually characterful form of the product, given to it by the shape, line features, contours, colors, materials, and ornamentation. The product is suitable for multiple reproduction. The hot food serving counter, in accordance with the industrial design, is made of metal, ceramics, and plastic. The subject of the design is shown in the attached photograph, which illustrates the counter in a general view from the front and side. Significant Features of the Industrial Design The essential features of the industrial design presented in the attached photograph include that the hot food counter is equipped with a perpendicular wall-mounted body placed on a decorative plinth. The front wall of the body has a cutout. Within this cutout is a recessed, decorative plate with edges extending beyond the contour of the cutout in the front panel. The recessed plate is illuminated along three sides by light, the source of which is located in the space between the back wall of the cutout in the front panel and the recessed, decorative plate. The light source is invisible. The diffused light emitted by this light source is visible. The top surface of the body consists of a worktop with recesses for placing bain-marie tubs and cooling tubs, as well as a heated ceramic plate. The ceramic heating plate is flush with the remaining top surface of the counter. Above the body of the counter is an extension, mounted on pillars arranged on both sides of the counter. The extension takes the form of a transparent canopy, profiled in an arc in cross-section and elongated towards the front. A horizontal strip is placed between the pillars supporting the canopy. This horizontal strip houses light sources, illuminating the worktop's surface. At the front, below the top plate, the counter is equipped with a shelf for sliding food. This shelf is attached to the body and made of shiny, round slats placed at the same level, one next to the other.
