Various types of roofing elements are known, including roof tiles, shingles, and panels, intended for covering roof slopes. They are manufactured from various weather-resistant materials, most commonly ceramic components, cement and sand, plastics, galvanized sheet metal, as well as natural stone and wood. Depending on the material used, the appropriate technology for attaching the tiles to the roof slope is selected. Typical ceramic, cement, or plastic roof tiles are usually rectangular in shape with a corrugated, flat, or suitably profiled surface to facilitate water drainage. Moreover, they are usually uniform in color, have a uniform cross-section, and create a uniform roofing pattern. Some roof tiles have a profiled lower end, for example, an oval shape. Sheet metal roof tiles are also known, with embossing depicting various decorative motifs, including plant motifs. The essence of the industrial design is a new form of a set of decorative roof tiles with a plant motif, manifesting itself in the shape, arrangement of lines, contours, ornamentation, and arrangement of elements within the set, giving the product a unique character. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached drawing, which shows the top side of a set of roof tiles composed of six elements. The set of decorative roof tiles is rectangular in shape with a decorative plant motif. The set consists of six decorative roof tiles arranged in two vertical rows, each representing a fragment of a leaf from a deciduous tree with asymmetrical sides. The top two tiles, left and right, represent the upper leaf fragments, the two middle tiles, left and right, represent the middle leaf fragments, and the bottom two tiles, left and right, represent the lower leaf fragments. Additionally, each tile features an additional leaf fragment located on the opposite side of the tile. The entire leaf is visible once the set is assembled. The set's rectangular elements, when assembled, create a repeatable decorative motif, giving the roof a unique look. Additional leaf fragments allow for the creation of an additional, adjustable motif in the form of a different leaf when the sets are joined. The decorative motif depicts a leaf from a tree in the beech family, particularly an oak leaf, reminiscent of the natural shape of a lobed oak leaf. The impression of a natural leaf shape is achieved by reproducing the natural contours and asymmetry of the sides on the left and right sides of the leaf. Individual decorative tiles are made of ceramic components, cement and sand, plastics, or layered materials manufactured with these components. The elements of a set of decorative roof tiles are shown in the drawing from the top side, where the decorative motif is applied. When the set elements are manufactured as ceramic roof tiles, individual fragments of the decorative motif are formed in specially designed molds and then fired. Cement roof tiles are produced similarly. When manufacturing plastic roof tiles, decorative motifs are obtained using rectangular molds or by formatting and extruding them using a press. Roof tiles can be manufactured from colored materials or semi-finished products with decorated and surface finishes. Roof tiles produced in this way are attached to the roof structure using hooks, locks, connectors, or clamps. The roof covering, made from a set of elements according to an industrial design, can be used on entire roof slopes or on selected fragments, as a covering of a functional and decorative nature.
