Abstract

The device has an at least partly cylindrical housing containing a contact carrier, a screw-on end cap, two corresponding at least partly overlapping ring elements (4,5) for contacting the screen (2) and a space (12) for accommodating a section of the screen. The inner and outer ring elements engage over the screen and have outer surfaces (10,11) at a distance apart in the overlap region forming a space for accommodating the length of screen (9) extending past the inner ring element.
