Abstract

The locking cylinder (20) has two load-holding descent brake devices (150.1, 150.2) in fluid connection with two working chambers (45, 33), so that when the first side (46) of the piston (22) is put under pressure, the piston is displaced in one direction. When it is subject to a counter-pressure lower than the working pressure, this acts on the other side (44) of the piston, displacing it in the opposite direction.
