Description
Najdluzszy^czasTtrwania patentu do 9 maja 1946 r.Przy próbach, djokonywanych w celu ulepszenia stosowanych dotychczas asfal¬ tów sztucznych i podobnych mas, zauwa¬ zono, iz elastycznosc tego rodzaju mas znacznie moze byc spotegowana przez do¬ danie kauczuku. Powyzszy dodatni skutek wykazuje sie juz wprawdzie w malym stopniu, jezeli stosowane sa jedynie roz- czyny gumy. Do celu powyzszego nadaja sie zarówno ipzczyny gumy nowej, jak i rozczyny uzywanej juz gumy starej. Do rozpuszczania gumy sluzyc moga zwykle srodki rozpuszczajace kauczuk, jak benzol i podobne substancje. Równiez stosowany byc moze lateks.Diabne jest dodawanie takich mas kau¬ czukowych albo gumowych w ten, sposób, iz powyzsze masy uprzednio stapia sie sa¬ me lub zmieszane z malemi ilosciami a- sfaltów, bitumów, smoly, zywic, olejów zy¬ wicowych i podobnych materjalów. Te stopiona mase dodaje sie do masy sztucz¬ nego asfaltu, roztopionego przez rozgrza¬ nie, a calosc rozgrzewa sie jeszcze nadal przez pewien okres czasu.Jak sie okazalo, bardzo dlobrze jest do¬ dawac do mas asfaltowych, oprócz kauczu¬ ku, jeszcze oleije wysychajace albo wlókna, oddzielnie albo wspólnie. Dodawanie ole¬ jów i wlókien dokonywane byc moze w tensam sposób, jak to opisano w patencie Nr 13717. _ Otrzymuje sie'masy asfaltowe z dobrym skutkiem nadajace sie do stosowania do okreslonych oeilów, jezeli gume lub kau¬ czuk stopi sie z olejami wysychajacemi i te mieszanine przez pewien czas rozgrzeje.Mase te, jak wyzej opisano, dodaje sie do rozgrzanego gestoplynneigo asfaltu albo asfaltu sztucznego, bitumu lub podobnego materjalu. Domieszka wlókien, jak np. azbestu, równiez dziala dobrze, gdyz przy¬ czynia sie ona do zwiekszenia spoistosci i ciagliwosci masy. PLThe longest duration of the patent until May 9, 1946 When attempts were made to improve the previously used artificial asphalts and similar masses, it was noticed that the flexibility of this type of mass can be greatly enhanced by adding rubber. The above positive effect is admittedly shown to a small degree if only rubber compounds are used. Both new and used old rubber compounds are suitable for the above purpose. Typically, rubber dissolving agents such as benzene and similar can be used to dissolve the gum. Latex may also be used. It is difficult to add such caoutchouc or rubbery masses in such a way that the above masses are first melted alone or mixed with small amounts of asphalts, bitumen, tar, resin, vein oils and similar materials. This molten mass is added to the mass of artificial asphalt, melted by heating, and the whole is still warming up for a certain period of time. As it turned out, it is very good to add oils to the asphalt masses, apart from rubber, drying fibers, either separately or together. The addition of oils and fibers can be done in the same way as described in Patent No. 13717. Asphalt masses are obtained that are very effective for use with certain oils, if the rubber or rubber melts with the drying oils and this mixture will warm up for a while. These masses, as described above, are added to hot Gestoplyne asphalt or synthetic asphalt, bitumen or similar material. The admixture of fibers such as asbestos also works well as it helps to increase the cohesiveness and toughness of the mass. PL
