Decorative alcohol packaging available on the market takes the form of cardboard boxes, wickerwork, metal or cardboard tubes, or leather cases. Packaging, especially for wine, is also known in the form of wooden boxes, in which bottles are surrounded by a filling material, often in the form of wood shavings. The description of industrial design no. Rp-9338 describes a package in the form of a vertical, cuboidal wooden box, the size and shape of which is adapted to the dimensions of bottles into which Spanish brandy - BR ANDY DE JEREZ is poured, having a cutout in the front wall, revealing at least the main label of the product and part of the bottle, wherein the shape and dimensions of the opening exclude the possibility of the bottle falling out or being removed through this opening, and possibly having the following markings of the type of product, trademarks and/or ornaments applied to individual walls, as well as a handle attached to the upper wall, opened by sliding one of the vertical walls upwards. The well-known packaging features a vertical, sliding front wall with a square opening and an additional oval bulge at the top edge, located in the lower half of the front wall. It is designed for a short, wide-bodied bottle. Furthermore, the packaging features a medallion, which identifies the beverage for which the packaging is intended. This medallion is located in the upper part of the vertical, sliding front wall, directly above the opening cut out in the same wall. The product's generic name is printed on both vertical side walls in the form of the inscription: BRANDY DE JEREZ, and a handle made of natural fiber rope is attached to the top wall. The packaging is made of smoothly planed wood, with a visible grain pattern, which serves as the main decorative element of these packages. Optionally, the outer and/or inner surfaces of the walls are coated with a coloring agent or charred, leaving a negative version of the product type markings, trademarks, and/or ornaments. The inscriptions, markings, and ornaments are applied to the outer surface of individual walls by burning. Packaging variations based on industrial design Rp-9338 are manufactured in various sizes and have differently shaped openings in the front wall. The description of industrial design Rp-1293 describes a wine bottle packaging in the form of a boat, which at the bow, between the side walls, has a triangular element, while inside it has transverse partitions, which in the middle parts have semicircular cutouts and two small holes on each side, the upper partition has a cutout with a small radius and the lower partition has a cutout with a large radius, in addition, at the side wall of the packaging there are two stylised oars, and inside there is a rope with a knot that covers both transverse partitions. The bottle packaging according to the submitted industrial design has the characteristics of novelty and originality, manifested in its different spatial form, new form of ornamentation, and the use of natural materials. The bottle packaging according to the industrial design is in the form of a vertical, rectangular, open box, sized to fit the dimensions of bottles, especially wine bottles, in which two sides are made of a natural material such as wood, or wood combined with other natural materials such as rope, ornamental grass, etc., constituting the leading decorative element of the packaging, while the remaining two sides of the box remain open, displaying the contents.
