Description

Do zasadnicych zalet stosowania sposobu wedlug wynalazku w stosunku do znanych metod nalezy zaliczyc zmniejszenie masy spoiny, zaoszczedzenie zuzycia drutu elektrodowego i zmniejsze¬ nie zuzycia gazu ochronnego. Pracownia Poligraficzna UP PRL. Naklad 100 egz Cena 130 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of narrow-gap welding. Wet-joint welding requires the transfer (oscillation) of the welding arc from one edge of the welded material to the other, so that the proper fusion takes place. In the known methods, this goal is achieved in several ways, for example by twisting two wires, preliminary oscillation bent wire, bending the wire bending plate, or by the swinging motion (in the horizontal plane) of the bent wire liner. These solutions are presented in the documents of the International Welding Institute, DOC XII-B-212- 77, DOC XII-B-244-78, DOC XII-B-142-73, DOC XII-B-7-81, and partially in A Klimpel, Modern Metal Bonding Technologies, WNT 1984. The essence of the method according to the invention is that the welding wire, before inserting it into the gap formed by the appropriate positioning of the edges of the welded material, undergoes plastic deformation as a result of which it is given a shape close to a sinusoidal shape The main advantages of using the method according to the invention over the known methods include reducing the mass of the weld, saving the wear of the electrode wire and reducing the consumption of shielding gas. The time of making the weld according to the invention is shorter than with the known methods, which is one of the reasons for reducing wear. The method according to the invention is explained in more detail in the figure. The drawing shows a view of the sheets to be joined during welding with the method according to the invention. To carry out the welding operation, the welding wire 1 is introduced into the prepared gap formed by the edges of the joined sheets 2, in the shape close to a sinusoid. As the electrode wire 1 melts, the welding gap is transferred from one edge of the sheet through the molten metal pool 3 to the edge of the other sheet. 2 141034 Patent claim A method of narrow-gap welding in which the welding gap is transferred from one edge of the sheet to be joined to the other edge, characterized by that the welding wire (1) is subjected to plastic deformation before it is introduced into the gap formed by the appropriate positioning of the edges of the welded material (2), as a result of which it is given a shape close to the shape of a sinusoid.
