Przedmiotem wynalazku jest stop miedzi o wysokiej odpornosci korozyjnej oraz na sciera¬ nie, a takze o bardzo dobrej podatnosci do przeróbki plastycznej na goraco i na zimno, prze¬ znaczony zwlaszcza do wyrobu monet, zetonów, medali oraz galanterii metalowej.Z polskiej normy PN-77/H-87025 znany jest stop M 90, który zawiera 89,0-91,Orf wagowych miedzi i cynk jako reszte. Znany jest takze, z niemieckiej normy DTJI 17 664, stop o skladzie, podanym wagowo: 4,8-6,0% niklu, 1,0-1,5* zelaza, 0,3-0,8% manganu, reszte stanowi miedz.Stop zawierajacy wagowo 0,3-0,6% manganu i nikiel wedlug wynalazku zawiera wagowo: 4,0-6,0% cynku, 4,0-6,0% niklu, do 0,6/0 kobaltu, reszte stanowi miedz. Stop ten charaktery¬ zuje sie kolorem zlocistym z odcieniem czerwonym. Wykazuje on wysoka odpornosc korozyjna i na scieranie, a jednoczesnie bardzo dobra odksztalcalnosc* na goraco i na zimno oraz wysoka odpornosc na tworzenie sie brudzacych, nieestetycznych nalotów.
