PLSkirting Board The essence of the industrial design is a new form of skirting board, manifested in its internal and external shape. Two-piece skirting boards are known, in which one or more mounting chambers are created between the two elements, and a masking element gives the whole an aesthetic appearance. The subject of the design is shown in the attached drawings from Fig. 1 to Fig. 6, showing both elements separated and the skirting board as a whole, with parts of the interior visible. Fig. 1 and 4 show the skirting board in use, Fig. 2 and Fig. 5 the masking element, and Fig. 3 and 6 the mounting/masking element. The skirting board is made in a variant that differs in the shape of the edges of the masking parts. The first version of the industrial design skirting board consists of two cooperating elements, the first of which is a mounting and masking element and the second a masking element. The first element in the mounting part, in cross-section, has a shape similar to the letter "1", the top of which is equipped with a slightly upwardly bent protrusion with a wide open "V" ending. Approximately at the height of 2/3 of the side of this element, another protrusion is visible, perpendicular to the side, with a wide open inverted "V" ending. The space thus created between the protrusions is the mounting channel. The lower edge, through a rounding, connects with the masking part, which has a slight bend in its middle part. The space created in the semicircular part of this element and the lower protrusion perpendicular to the wall is another mounting channel. The second element, having the shape of a skid with an inward bend in its upper part, is equipped with one protrusion, in cross-section similar to a wide open "V", placed at a height such that it fits under the upper protrusion of the mounting and masking element, and the second protrusion, in cross-section similar to an inverted wide open "V", is placed on it so that it fits over the second protrusion of the mounting and masking element. The strip in the second variant has the lower edge of the masking part of the mounting and masking element and the edge of the masking element terminated with an additional finishing strip.
