Przedmiotem wynalazku jest zeliwo wysokochromowe odporne na scieranie w wysokich temperaturach.Obecnie elementy maszyn i urzadzen pracujace w temperaturze 400—700°C w warunkach intensywnego scierania ziarnami mineralnymi wykonuje sie z zeliwa wysokochromowego ZL Cr 28 o skladzie.0,5—1.0% wegla, 0,5—1,3% krzemu, 0,5—0,1% manganu, 28—30% chromu, max. 0,1% fosforu i max. 0,08% siarki, lub zeliwa wysokochromowo-krzemowego ZLCr 22 Si o skladzie:0,7—0,9% wegla, 3,0^4,0% krzemu, 0,5—0,8% manganu, 20-24% chromu, max. 0,1% fosforu i max. 0,1% siarki (PN-80/ H-83 113).W celu zwiekszenia odpornosci na scieranie opracowano zeliwo zwane dalej zeliwem wysokochromowo-wa- nadowolframowym Zeliwo zawiera w procentach wagowych: 1,5—2,4% wegla, 0,3—1,0% krzemu, 0,5—1,0% manganu, 24,5-27,5% chromu, 1,0—4% wanadu, 0,5-2,0% wolframu, max. 0,1% fosforu, max. 0,1% siarki, reszta zelazo.Zeliwo wedlug wynalazku charakteryzuje sie bardzo wysoka odpornoscia na scieranie, szczególnie w wa¬ runkach podwyzszonych temperatur do 400—700°C.
