// l' V figA fiq.2 Pracownia Poligraficzna UP PRL. Known solutions of steering wheels are characterized by a symmetrical shape of the inlet edges, which ensure a symmetrical pressure distribution on both sides of the rotor. The present invention relates to a design of the inlet of the steering wheel of a centrifugal pump which reduces the axial force by increasing the static pressure in the space between the suction-side front impeller plate and the casing in relation to the pressure in the space between the pressure-side rear impeller plate and the casing. is achieved by using differently shaped centrifugal steering discs on the inlet side. The front disc is shaped at the inlet to trap a portion of the impeller flow and convert the pressure from dynamic to static pressure. The rear wheel of the steering wheel has a rounded shape at the inlet, which facilitates the shock-free flow of liquid to the steering wheel. The subject of the invention is illustrated in the example of the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a partial section of the pump stage with the inlet to the steering wheel in cross section, and Fig. 2. shows a longitudinal section. Fig. 1 shows an outlet from a rotor having a front disk 1, rear 2 and blades 3, and an inlet to a stator of a centrifugal pump having a front disk 4 with a sharp inlet edge 5 and an auxiliary palisade of blades 6, the shape of which is shown in Fig. 2, and rear disc 7 with rounded inlet 8. Operation of the steering wheel inlet consists in the fact that the liquid flowing out at the front disc 1 of the rotor is partially separated by the edge 5 and influences the auxiliary palisade of the blades 6, causing an increase in static pressure in space 9 at the expense of dynamic pressure of the flowing stream from the rotor, while the liquid flowing out at the rear disc 2 of the rotor flows in a non-impact manner next to the rounded inlet 8, as a result of which the pressure in the space 10 does not exceed the value resulting from the static lifting height of the rotor. Obtaining on the outer diameter of the rotor a higher pressure in the space 9 and in space 10 reduces the axial thrust go.2 127140 Patent claim Wiol of the steering wheel of an centrifugal pump, characterized by the fact that it has a front disc (4) with a sharp inlet edge (5) and an auxiliary palisade of blades (6) and a rear disc (7) with a rounded inlet (8) . 7 \ * A \ 8 Ki 1 v A r 40 /? // l 'V figA fiq.2 Printing studio of the Polish People's Republic.
