Description

(szerokosc); sred¬ nia warstwe stanowi tluczen gruby, le¬ zacy warstwa o trapezowym przekroju 0,50 +2,00 n „ * ¦ • • u • — ' 0,55, a ostatnia wierzchnia war¬ stwa grubosci 0,60 m i o powierzchni , . 0,60 + 2,00 ^r . , , przekroju — x-—-— 0,6 m sklada sie z szabru, który w razie braku zastapic go mozna zwirem grubym. 2, 3, 4). PLKI. r: 0. 19 ai. i / VjP The railway track base of the new system, intended to provide a well drained and durable track base, can be applied to any track, both new and existing. In Fig. 1, we see the intersection of layers B together with channel A. The layers B represent a filter for the easy passage of water collecting on ballast; channel A replaces drainage pipes, the production of which is nowadays too expensive. The cut of the layers B shows two trapezoids joined together by their bases. The lower limit of the ballast, lying at the same level with the base of the trapezoid, is lowered below the line gf of the embankment and constitutes the fundamental basis for the ballast, and at the same time prevents massive dumps of ballast and maintains its once defined form. B, as can be seen in Fig. 1, consists of 3 layers, namely: at the very bottom a stone filling the channel with a cross-section of 0.45 (height) by 0.50 m (width); the middle layer is a thick, overlying layer with a trapezoidal cross-section of 0.50 + 2.00 n "0.55" - 0.55, and the last top layer is 0.60 m thick and has an area of. 0.60 + 2.00 ^ r. ,, cross-section - x -—-— 0.6 m consists of saber, which, if not replaced, can be replaced with thick gravel. The layer of gravel contaminated on the top, about 2 "- 21 / *" thick, is replaced from time to time by a layer of pure gravel. Channels CC (Fig. 1-a) are cut out at distances of 50 m on both sides of channel A and each with a slope of 1:35, so that the water collected in channel A is led out into the ditches. Channel A has a slope of 1: 250 in both Two sides, starting from the middle of the distance between adjacent channels CC. Thus, on the track and in channel A the flow of water is avoided. The CC channels are about 4.25 m long, running from the axis of channel A towards the drainage ditches. Passing through such a long filter, the water is free of impurities and harmful grease dripping from the smear running along the river. Due to the fact that there are not always ditches at the stations, the water from the CC channels can be led to well-designed wells, whether stone or iron-iron. - new, or finally worn, sleepers (Figs. 2, 3, 4).
