Znaczniki termiczne (6) wykonane są farbami zmieniającymi kolor pod wpływem wzrostu temperatury powyżej pierwszej wartości granicznej i spadku temperatury poniżej drugiej wartości granicznej. Folia (1) po stronie przeciwnej do warstwy kryjącej (2) posiada warstwę złuszczającą (7). Warstwa złuszczająca (7) wykonana jest lakierem antyadhezyjnym złuszczającym. Warstwa złuszczająca (7) wykonana jest lakierem o innym kolorze niż warstwa kryjąca (2).
