The known and widely used pressing funnel has the shape of a truncated cone and has a through-hole along its axis. The through-hole on the inlet side is convergent towards the outlet, and at the outlet it has a cylindrical shape. In such a funnel that compresses the excess air carried with the fleece, due to a sharp change in the fleece cross-section, due to a sharp change in the fleece cross-section, dust is blown outwards, which contributes to pollution of the atmosphere around carding machines. High speed of the roll at high efficiency of the apparatus increase this unfavorable phenomenon. The aim of the invention is to eliminate the above disadvantage. This aim was achieved by applying a series of holes around the circumference of the funnel, which connects the passage opening of the funnel with the filtration chamber. The pressing funnel thus made eliminates the disadvantage of the known solution.
